My dream XI

Nurul Hasan has floated around in the batting unit and can be banked on for some big hits. The youngster’s proficiency behind the sticks has not gone unnoticed and his skills have also fetched him a lot of praise.

In skipper David Warner, the Sixers have potentially the most dangerous batsman in T20s and fresh from a half-century against the Vikings, Warner’s form, in addition to the explosiveness of Nicholas Pooran, who also notched up a half-century in the previous game, will have a massive say on the outcome of the game.

For the Dynamites, Hazratullah Zazai has packed a punch with two fifties in three matches and will hold the aces while young Rony Talukdar’s ability to wield the long handle can also be expected to come to the fore.

The Dynamites host a powerhouse of all-rounders in captain Shakib Al Hasan, Sunil Narine and Andre Russell. Al-Hasan, in particular will be eyeing yet another top show from his Windies stars while Sunil Narine can be expected to brush off his poor start and find his rhythm.

Andre Russell needs no introduction to T20 cricket and his pyrotechnics with both the bat and the ball can prove to be a decisive contribution in the Dynamites’ charge.

In Taskin Ahmed and Mohammad Irfan, the Sixers have two capable bowlers, who have proven to deliver in crucial junctions. Taskin Ahmed has already found his bearings with 4/28 against the Vikings and his pace, coupled with the menacing quick bowling from Irfan could will be vital to penetrate the strong Dynamites’ batting line-up.

The Dynamites too have experienced hands in the form of pacer Rubel Hossain, whose slingy action has created quite a few problems for the best of batters and if Hossain does indeed hit his straps, the Sixers’ batsmen will have a tall task at hand.

Captain and vice-captain: Sunil Narine and David Warner.

Player to watch out for: Hazratullah Zazai

The young opening batsman has thrown caution to the winds with two whirlwind half-centuries and with form on his side, Zazai’s ability to provide blazing starts at the top of the order could prove to be the primary calling card for the Dynamites.
