9.22pm  Good effort from Chennai Brave Jaguars and Thisara Perera but in vain. Things could have had been different for them had their top order made some sort of impact. Dan Lawrence, Chris Lynn went for single digits while Rassie van der Dussen and Bhanuka Rajapaksa got off to a start but fell at the wrong time. Perera kept the hopes alive but his effort alone was not enough.
