7.00pm  Niroshan Dickwella. the Galle Marvels skipper says they were always in the game and the players did well to win the key moments. Adds that when they were batting, the opponents used a lot of cutters and slower ones, and that gave them a good look at the surface on how to go ahead in the game with them bowling second.

6.59pm  Mohammad Nabi, the Dambulla Sixers skipper is up for a chat and says they tried their best to win this but they failed to do so today. Adds that they will look to win their remaining games and qualify further.

6.58pm  MAHEESH THEEKSHANA IS THE PLAYER OF THE MATCH for his brilliant spell. He says his experience helped him stay calm in those pressure situations. Adds that he was aware that he was going to bowl the last over and mixed up the wide yorkers with variations to a good effect.

6.57pm  Earlier today, Galle Marvels were asked to bat first and they made 148 for 9 in their 20 overs on the back of runs from Alex Hales, Tim Seifert, and a cameo from Dwaine Pretorius. For the Sixers, Nuwan Pradeep, Dushan Hemantha, and Mohammad Nabi took two each and the spinners had the upper hand throughout this game. Dambulla Sixers have slipped to their third loss of the season but remain at the fifth position.

6.54pm  Galle Marvels did not have the best of scores with the bat but they did extremely well with the ball. Maheesh Theekshana was the pick of the bowlers with 3 for 26 in his spell while Dwaine Pretorius, Kavindu Nadeeshan, and Sahan Arachchige all chipped in with one each. The spinners bowled fifteen overs on this wicket and it turned out to be a masterstroke by the Galle skipper, Niroshan Dickwella. With this win, Galle Marvels add two more points to their tally and remain at the second position.

6.45pm  WHAT A GAME WE'VE WITNESSED! This match went right down to the Super Over where Galle Marvels came on the winning side. Chasing 149 for the win, the Dambulla Sixers started well but lost wickets in the middle and were reeling at 97 for 5 in the 15th over. Reeza Hendricks and Mohammad Nabi joined hands and stuck crucial boundaries to bring the equation down to 8 runs off the final over but Maheesh Theekshana bowled a terrific last over and took the game in the Super Over. Maheesh Theekshana took the responsibility of bowling the Super Over and did well to keep the Sixers down to just 6 runs. Alex Hales and Sahan Arachchige came out to bat for the Galle Marvels in the Super Over and got the job done with two balls to spare.

6.39pm  That's a splendid over by Maheesh Theekshana, not giving anything in the arc of the Dambulla batters. He got the wicket of Hendricks off a full toss, but the Lankan won't mind. He strengthens his credentials as a fine death bowler.

6.35pm  A tough pill to swallow for Dambulla. After getting the run chase into a Super Over, they would have fancied themselves to carry on the momentum but instead, the tables got topped over them. However, if they can be bowled out for 6, they need to believe that they can bowl out the opposition under 6. Can the bowlers deliver?

OUT! RUN OUT! Quicker and flatter on off, Mohammad Nabi thumps this towards wide long off and goes for the second. A good throw from the deep by Alex Hales on the bounce back to Niroshan Dickwella sees Mohammad Nabi short of his crease. Just 6 from the Super Over for Dambulla and they fail to play out the entire over even.
