Bangladesh will feel they could have restricted New Zealand under 200. They had a really good chance when Tom Blundell and Henry Nicholls got out but they allowed the tail to wag a bit longer and now have a big task ahead. It was Mustafizur Rahman yet again who did the job. The spinners were not getting that much purchase but stuck to the plan. Mahedi Hasan ended with three while the debutant Khaled Ahmed got three too. Still, a pretty good bowling performance and it is now upto their batters to complete the job. They though have to bat well against the likes of Trent Boult and Kyle Jamieson. Stay tuned for the chase.

Excellent knock from Sodhi. His knock has helped New Zealand get past 250 and given them a good chance to win this game. Yet again, they didn't start well but h just like in the first match got things back on track along with Blundell. The former fell one short but the latter got to his fifty and got the Kiwis on a fine tune. It was Ish Sodhi's innings that made the big difference. Hasan Mahmud got him run out at the bowler's end but Bangladesh were happy enough to call him back on the pitch and it turned out to be a really crucial innings from him.

The first match was washed out due to rain but the Kiwis will hope to put on a much better performance with the bat this time around. They lacked experience and it was seen in their batting. Bangladesh on the other hand made the most of the conditions. The Fizz was at his best and the spinners combined well to extract good amount of turn. However, the rain had the last say.
