UPDATE - THE OFFICIAL WORD IS IN! After, the inspection, the umpires have decided that the toss will happen at 3 am GMT. The match will begin at 3.30 am GMT, but all this will obviously depend on if there is no further rain. Looking at the skies, it is pretty clear and we should be getting underway as per the above mentioned times.

UPDATE - 2.13 am GMT - The waiting game continues at Seddon Park! Despite no rain, the umpires are still not satisfied about the outfield, and they will have a further inspection at 2.20 am GMT. Let's hope we get good news.

UPDATE - 1.53 am GMT - Currently it is not raining at Seddon Park. The live visuals show that the two umpires are out there inspecting the outfield and having a chat with the ground manager. We can also see the Sri Lankan players doing some light warm-up drills. So, it should not be long before we get an official word. Stick with us for more news.

UPDATE - 1.30 am GMT - Some positive news! The rain has slowed down a bit and few of covers are coming off. We can also see the super-soppers at work trying to dry the outfield as quickly as possible. However, we are almost certain to lose overs as the cut-off time for a full game was right about now.
