Mumbai Indians have been in excellent form this season, and have been more consistent than CSK in IPL 2019, who have faded away albeit slightly after a great start. Mumbai have already beaten MS Dhoni’s side three times in the tournament already, and this is the confidence that they will carry with them into the finals, where either team will be vying for their fourth IPL title. MI have also won both times the two sides met in an IPL final, and they are the favourites for this game too.
As far as the fantasy team goes, picking Quinton de Kock as he opens the innings over MS Dhoni, who is slated to come way down should be a smarter move, while big-match players Faf du Plessis and Watson are the picks from CSK for the batting department. Rohit is in good nick as well, while Pollard can finish things off with a good knock.
Only two all-rounders have been chosen, but Krunal Pandya can be slotted in in place of Bumrah, who bowls economically but is not always among the wickets and hence might not make such a good fantasy pick. Tahir, Chahar and Malinga are the other choices. Bhajji can be brought in for Malinga as well.
Best Bets: Hardik Pandya, Faf du Plessis
Alternatives: Tahir, Quinton de Kock
