Bengaluru Bulls v Telugu Titans
28th November, Wednesday, 21:00 IST
Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Pune.
With a sound thrashing of the UP Yoddha working in their favour, an upbeat Bulls side will be looking to maintain their momentum when they clash paths with the Telugu Titans in the first meeting of these two teams this season. The Titans will be coming into the contest with two losses in a row and in a season that has seen them dip in and out of form, Vishal Bharadwaj will hope his men find their rhythm.
Form Guide (most recent to oldest):
Bengaluru Bulls: L W L W D (Moderate form)
Telugu Titans: L L W L D (Poor form)
Head to Head:
Won by Bengaluru Bulls: 4
Won by Telugu Titans: 2
Probable Starting XI*:
Rohit Kumar (Captain), Pawan Sehrawat, Kashiling Adake, Mahender Singh, Ashish Sangwan, Amit Sheoran, Raju Lal Choudhary.
Vishal Bharadwaj (Captain), Rahul Chaudhari, Nilesh Salunke, Mohsen Maghsoudlou, Abozar Mighani, Anil Kumar, Farhad Milagardhan.
My dream XI
Mahender Singh and Amit Sheoran have worked hand in hand to pile the pressure on the raiders and will once again be in action against the out-of-form Telugu Titans raiders, who will have to be at their best to ward off the strong challenges that are bound to come their way. Abozar Mighani’s mighty presence on the right corner could be the key for the Titans, but the Iranian will need to up his game.
Vishal Bharadwaj was in good touch on his return from injury as he made life difficult for the Thalaivas raiders with some top ankle holds. With his opposite number Rohit Kumar set to cross his path in this game, Bharadwaj will be a key prospect in the Titans set-up.
Pawan Sehrawat has been in excellent touch this season and barring the few games where he failed to perform, in which Rohit Kumar took up the mantle to lead the way, the duo is a perfect combination that can be expected to shine against a low-on-confidence Titans set-up. Rahul Chaudhari’s inability to perform will put added pressure on Nilesh Salunke, who will hope to brush aside his poor run and bring out his bag of tricks to pick points.
Captain and vice-captain: Pawan Sehrawat and Rohit Kumar.
Alternative: Rohit Kumar and Vishal Bharadwaj.
Player to watch out for: Rohit Kumar
Rohit Kumar has played the role of an anchor in the team this season and with Pawan Sehrawat’s form set to encounter the might of the Titans set-up, a bad day for Pawan can be in the offing, which makes the role of Rohit Kumar much more paramount with his understanding of the game situation and raiding skill bound to fetch him a host of points.
