Ankeet Chavan is a left-hand batsman from Maharashtra and has represented Mumbai at various levels including Mumbai, Mumbai Under-19s, Mumbai Under-22s, and Mumbai Cricket Association XI.

He made his first-class debut against Orissa in 2008 in the Ranji Trophy Super League game. He was bought by the Mumbai Indians in the first few seasons of the IPL. In 2011, the Mumbai lad was signed by the Rajasthan Royals for season 4.
